– Insect Repellents.
– Insecticide-Treated Nets (ITNs).
– Protective Clothing at dusk and dawn.
– Window Screens.
– Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS).
– Eliminate Stagnant Water.
– Vaccination (RTS,S/AS01 for children in some regions).
– Antimalarial Prophylaxis for travelers to high-risk areas.
Recognizing and Treating Malaria
– Symptoms: Fever, chills, headache, nausea, muscle pain.
– Get Tested Promptly (RDTs, blood smears).
– Complete the Full Course of Antimalarial Medication.
