 Proactive Heart Health for Moderate-Weight Individuals

– Eat a Heart-Wellness-Focused Nutrition Plan: Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats; reduce salt.

– Stay Physically Active: 150 minutes moderate or 75 minutes vigorous exercise per week; strength training twice weekly.

– Monitor Health: Regular blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar checks.

– Manage Stress.

– Avoid Smoking.

– Limit Alcohol (≤1 drink/day women, ≤2 men).

– Get 7–9 Hours of Sleep.

– Stay Hydrated.

– Limit Sugar Intake.
